Roger McColly

Roger McColly grew up in Upper Sandusky, OH where he started working as a delivery driver part time over 20 years ago. He currently owns two Dominos Pizza franchise locations: Upper Sandusky and Tiffin, OH. Roger says his favorite part of being in the pizza business is, "being busy and working with others that like the pace of the pizza business."

Roger won his position on the 2006 US Pizza Team by winning the Fast Pizza Maker at the 2005 New York Pizza Show on November 2, 2005 in New York City. He says that the best part of winning the spot is the reward for all of his hard work and the chance to go to Italy. This will be Roger's second time on the team and traveling to Italy. He was previously a member of the 2004 US Pizza Team.

To prepare for the competition, Roger says that he watched tapes of previous competitions and he likes to practice with others who will watch him and give him tips on how to improve. His advice to give as a pizza champion is to, "watch tapes of successful competitors and believe that with practice, time and patience you can also rise and become a champion.

Roger has received press coverage from Columbus, Toledo, Lima and Mansfield, OH. He is very happy to have another opportunity to represent the US Pizza Team in Italy in 2006.
