Brian Edler grew up in Plymouth, Ohio. He's the owner of four Domino's Pizza franchises based in Findlay, Ohio. Brian has been in the pizza business since he was 16, when he began delivering pizzas for a neighbor's pizza place.
Brian has been a member of the US team since 2003 when He placed first in the Largest Dough Stretch and in the Fastest Pizza Maker. He has been winning contest and breaking records ever since. Brian said he prepares for competitions by practicing three to five times a week for at least 30 minutes at a time. “I also start practicing at least 30 days before the competition,” he said.
Brian’s record breaking titles include Fastest Pizza Maker in the United States, 20.37 seconds, the World Record in New York for the largest Stretch 52.75 inches. The World Record for the Fastest Pizza Maker 37 seconds at the World Pizza Championship.
He appeared on the cover of the March/April 2004 issue of PMQ Magazine. He has appeared on all sorts of TV shows since he joined the team in 2003: The Best Damn Sports Show, CNN News, CBS's The Early Show, and the Food Network's World Pizza Challenge, and he's appeared in USA Today as well as a front page spot in more than 20 other newspapers and publications across world, including Pizza E Pasta magazine.
Brian said he has learned to use the media more effectively to market his business without having to pay a bunch of money. He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 19 years. They have three children, Kodie, 14, Mackenzie, 9, and Kurtis, 6.
