Nino Coniglio
Triathlon Winner, Nino grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and has been making pizza most of his life. He won his spot on the team in March 2008 at the New York Pizza Show. He currently owns Pizzeria Del Corso in Brooklyn's Marine Park. He won his spot on the team with his pizza-spinning skills, but Nino's specialty is making fresh mozzarella cheese and traditional Neapolitan pizza – using the fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes and fresh basil and cooking it in a deck oven. Nino won the U.S. Pizza Team's first triathlon in Orlando, where he proved to be the best all-around pizza athlete. |
