Food Network's $10,000 Pizza Challenge, 3rd Place – 2005
Chef Santo Bruno has been the Culinary Coach of the U.S. Pizza Team since September 2005. Chef Bruno's experience is quite extensive. His formal training was completed in Europe at the prestigious Culinary Center Scuola Alberghiera in Palermo, Italy. Chef Bruno is also a long-standing member of A.P.E.S. in Milan, Italy, and now owns Bellisimo Ristorante in Tampa, Florida. When Chef Bruno is not traveling the world making pizza or consulting, he makes his famed pizza at Bellisimo using the Marsal Pizza Oven. Chef Bruno has also helped to establish numerous restaurants in the United States and abroad.
Chef Bruno is truly a professional and captivates his audience's with his humor and his knowledge during demonstrations. Chef Bruno has made many appearances on TV, including Life & Style, The Food Network, Martha Stewart, The History Channel and many news events.
